Dawg Class 2025

Pro Athletes Mentoring Collegiate Athletes

Dawg Class is led by Kelsey Plum of the WNBA—champion with the Aces and currently playing for the LA Sparks.

Kelsey's vision and mission with Dawg Class is unique and incredibly powerful. She wants to help ease the transition for female basketball players from the college level into the pros. In her own transition, she struggled, and now she leads this camp annually, sharing everything she learned about making the transition and how to be a successful pro. She shares all her tools and resources—which means she shares me, her Pilates teacher!

I've been teaching Kelsey Pilates since 2021, and classical Pilates mat work with me is woven into her elite training routine as well as her recovery days. In season and out of season, at her peak and through any injuries, Kelsey is dedicated to her Pilates practice and ensuring her "powerhouse" is activated before she gets on the basketball court.

So, Dawg Class... 2025 marked the third annual three-day camp. Ten of the top college guards are invited to a three-day intensive featuring court time, Kelsey's mentoring sessions, PLUS Pilates with me!

It's a gathering of the best and a cultivation of community and connection. Sponsored by Under Armour, the attendees are fitted and celebrated, challenged and supported. They play basketball, of course, but are also led through valuable training and growth opportunities off the court.

I'm honored to have been a part of it every April since its inaugural camp in 2023. Every year brings a growing group of "Dawgs"—players with that "dawg mentality," as Kelsey coins it—hungry to play, willing to work, tough and tenacious, authentic and committed.

This year the camp was held in Phoenix, and yes, we had puppy Pilates as well! That's the one Pilates workout meant more for playful movement and decompression after intense on-court sessions for the girls—and for laughter while doing teasers on the mat.

Mentorship is everything. I love being a part of this camp, training young athletes, and building longstanding connections.
