Foundations WORKSHOP SUNDAY SESSION
3 PLACES!
As we develop range in the lower powerhouse - the legs/hips/lowback, we travel to 3 places : front-side-back.
We visit these 3 places in every BALLET STRETCH pattern but it’s so much more.
Finding STRENGTH and RANGE of motion is the biggest goal here.
We will use the Ladder Barrel, Cadillac, Wunda Chairs and of course begin on the Mat to work on this range of motion in the hips, spine, legs to ankle - the entire lower powerhouse while still paying attention to the patterns of flexion and extension in the upper body.
This work of connecting to your BODY’S range in 3 places is really essential to both aging well AND performing at a high level as an athlete. Balance work! This content from Foundational exercises to Advanced will help you in YOUR BODY and your teaching of a wide variety of clients.
Really fun content to move through + super super applicable to your life, training, clients needs, and just feeling good day to day.
Come ready to workout, take notes, ask questions and move swiftly through a lot of material in three hours! Short 10 min break midway for in person plus online.

Workshop : WUNDA ROOTS
WORKSHOP weekend - Saturday afternoon session
3pm-6pm EST
WUNDA ROOTS include much more than the 4 exercises in the true Classical Basic System.
The Wunda Chair is where we find so much grounding, strength, core connection and athletic movements to elevate our practice and enhance our everyday life.
We plant our roots first using the TOE CORRECTOR and FOOT CORRECTOR for some basics. Then it’s all WUNDA from there!
If you don’t have a Toe/Foot Corrector that’s fine. Bring a tennis ball to practice + take notes/observe.
Come ready to workout, take notes, ask questions and participate.
Short 10 min break midway for in person plus online.

Workshop : LATS ON
WORKSHOP weekend - Saturday morning session
LATS ON ! That means UPPER POWERHOUSE active and arms connected to the back!
Stronger in the upper body yes, but super super connected and empowered.
Using the Arm Chair + Magic Circle + Pushup Devices + Springs on the Wall Unit we build deeper connection.
Owning this upper powerhouse connection is FUNDAMENTAL to building strength and progressing both yourself in your workout and your clients deeper into the whole Classical Pilates system and being ready for the Intermediate and Advanced exercises plus transitions.
We build connectivity and strength - in short, we ensure the LATS are ON!
Come ready to workout, take notes, ask questions and move swiftly through a lot of material around the studio. If you don’t have all of the apparatus mentioned, that’s fine, use what you have then improvise or take notes.
